The Celtic project Encompas (Enabling Community Communications – Platforms and Applications) organizes a workshop “Connectivity at Home – User centric application design and deployment” on 6.9. 2006 from 9.00 – 18.00 in Lume Centre, University of Art and Design, Helsinki.

The workshop opens with two parallel workshops on “Co-design methodology” and “Service Provisioning”, and continues after lunch with two key-note lectures by Dr. Mika Pantzar (Head of Research, Dr., University lecturer, National Consumer Research Centre) and Mr. Paolo Pastorino (CTO and CBO of the Home Gateway Initiative), after which there will be presentations from the Encompas and other related projects and panel discussion about designing services for mediasharing and the family.
